Many of you know that small businesses have been heavily impacted by COVID-19 across the world. Hoboken has been one of the towns where a large segment of the businesses that make up this town are small, locally-owned businesses.
The Hoboken Business Alliance was created prior to COVID-19 and was formed to specifically support and further help small business owners. To learn more about their mission and what they do, click here. With restrictions loosening up in Hoboken, they’ve recently launched a campaign called #GoBoken.
What is #GoBoken?
#GoBoken is a campaign launched by the Hoboken Business Alliance intended to encourage locals and Hoboken residents to support Hoboken businesses! You can learn more by clicking here.
#GoBoken will run throughout the summer with fun themed-promotions to remind the community to support local shops, restaurants, and establishments in any way and as often as they can.

If you’re a local business interested in participating in this campaign, you have the opportunity to fill out the form by clicking here. There is no fee to participate, but spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. This opportunity is great for businesses that want to create a limited-menu or have a product or service that you’d like HBA to promote as part of one of their upcoming themes. They will have some themes like Summer Spirited BBQ, Picnic in the Park, Kid-Palooza, Sinatra Celebration, and more.

What Is Summer Streets?
Summer Streets is a program happening THIS SUNDAY, June 28th from 11AM to 8PM down on 1st in Hoboken. This program is encouraging locals to explore and support the diverse mix of shops and restaurants in the 1 Street Neighborhood.
The street will be open to pedestrian traffic only from Washington Street to Clinton Street. Tables will be set up throughout the street where local restaurants can take orders and serve guests, and many shops will have items on display outside available for purchase. All attendees must adhere to social distancing and mask guidelines to stay safe. #GoBoken

HBA {Hoboken Business Alliance} provides a wide range of support for local businesses. When COVID-19 first hit, they launched their site and have a page dedicated to COVID-19 support and resources.
